South Ayrshire Youth Council

Are you aged 11-21 years and live, study, or work in South Ayrshire? Do you have an interest in influencing key decisions that affect young people in your area? Why not apply to stand as a candidate for the upcoming South Ayrshire Youth Council election!

The Youth Council is a great opportunity for young people to represent the views of their peers on issues that are important to them and to make a real difference.

You’ll be able to:

1. Voice the needs of your community,

2. Meet new like-minded people,

3. Gain valuable experiences and take part in training and activities,

4. Develop your communication and leadership skills,

5. Get involved in planning local youth events,

Applications are open NOW until 7th June 2024.

The election will be held on 20 June 2024.
